FREMONT – With Fremont City Administrator, Brian Newton, away for a few days, the City’s Grant Administrator, Lottie Mitchell, stepped in for a visit Monday with Bob Flittie.
Of significant importance was Mitchell’s announcement that the State of Nebraska has been awarded over $108-million in FEMA Flood Recovery Grants. Mitchell gave this information:
Next, Mitchell had a whopper of an announcement for Dodge County:
That’s right, $87-million is to be spent in Douglas, Sarpy and Dodge counties! That’s a really big deal.
Lastly, Mitchell passed on this reminder about Tuesday night’s Spring Flood Preparedness meeting at Christensen Field at 7 p.m.:
