Area Nonprofits Gearing Up for 2018 Fremont Area Big Give

FREMONT – In 2017, Fremont raised over $260,000 for area nonprofits in just one day. The Fremont Area Big Give is an initiative from the Fremont Area Community Foundation designed to give area nonprofits a boost – in visibility and in donations. Organizers hope the 2018 Give is just as successful.

The Fremont Area Big Give is a 24-hour online giving event organized by the Fremont Area Community Foundation to grow philanthropy in the Greater Dodge County area. The Big Give is scheduled for May 8th this year, with the goal of  bringing nonprofits and donors together, expand online giving, connect people to the causes that matter to them most and make giving exciting for both the donor and the nonprofit.

Nonprofits are eligible to participate in the Fremont Area Big Give if they:

  • Are a 501(c)3 in good standing
  • Have a visible presence and provide services that directly impact the Fremont/Dodge County area. Funds raised during the Fremont Area Big Give must be used for services in the Fremont/Dodge County Area.

Area nonprofits who registered in January to participate in the 2018 Big Give should have their profile entered on the Big Give website no later than April 13, 2018. The Fremont Area Community Foundation will offer a Logistical Training session on April 10th from 3-5 p.m. at First State Bank (Register Here).
