211 Hotline Activated for COVID-19 Questions, Concerns

FREMONT – The Fremont Area United Way, Dodge County Emergency Management and Three Rivers Public Health Department have activated a hotline to address community questions and concerns relating to the COVID-19 virus in Fremont and surrounding areas.

Those in Dodge, Saunders and Washington counties with questions about COVID-19 who would like general, scientifically informed information about prevention, symptoms, and the current conditions in this region are encouraged to dial 2-1-1 to speak to someone personally.

“Fremont Area United Way supports the accurate and timely distribution of important information to all community members,” said Christy Fiala, Executive Director of the Fremont Area United Way. “This 2-1-1 system is uniquely designed to provide continuous availability of reliable information.”

Three Rivers Public Health Department will be involved in the 2-1-1 hotline, considering it an important tool to address community concerns. “[We are] here to provide the best possible service to the community,” said Terra Uhing, Executive Director for Three Rivers. “2-1-1 is a great collaborative opportunity to do just that.”
