Business Program Specialist

The Greater Fremont Development Council, in collaboration with the Greater Omaha Chamber, is seeking candidates to fill the position of Business Program Specialist, located in Fremont.


Successful candidates will have a minimum of one year of direct, full-time experience in an administrative capacity; associate’s degree or higher is preferred. Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have performed administrative responsibilities in a non-profit setting and have performed general digital media and marketing tasks.  Must possess the ability to navigate social media applications, such as: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.

Under the direction of the GFDC Executive Director, the Business Program Specialist will assist in the implementation of GFDC’s economic development programming and functioning of the Fremont office, including administrative tasks for the organization and general business program efforts.

The individual will serve as primary point of contact between GFDC members, prospects, visitors, and vendors at the Fremont office, and will focus on business assistance, retention visits, and site promotion.  Must have outstanding problem resolution abilities and a high level of confidentiality.  Must also possess effective project management and advanced word processing skills.
