Former Nebraska All-American Kelsey Griffin is back in the WNBA.
Griffin, who was the third overall pick in the 2010 WNBA draft by the Minnesota Lynx, agreed to a deal with the Lynx on Thursday. Griffin was traded by the Lynx to Connecticut on draft day.
She averaged an Australian-League-best 19.7 points in 26 games played last season with Canberra, while winning the regular season and Finals MVP.
Griffin helped lead the Huskers to their first Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA tournament and Big 12 regular-season title in school history in the 2009-10 season.
